On Fridays, we come together to pray for a change in the President, and, barring that change; a change in the Presidency.
As a nation, we are preparing to celebrate 4th of July this weekend. Because of the state that the world is in right now with COVID-19, this 4th of July looks different than normal, but we still want to use this opportunity to reflect on freedom.
Particularly, we want to reflect on the need to vote this coming November for a freedom from the oppression, corruption, and hatred of this White House. Today, we are praying that our President will change, and we are praying that a new President will come along shortly. Will you join us?

Prayer 1 – God of Faith, Hope, and Love, we pray that President Trump would see the error of his ways, and would make a purposeful, lasting move towards supporting the freedom of the American people.
We pray that Donald Trump would support the freedom of the press, and would not hastily fend off facts with claims of “Fake News.” We pray that he recognizes the purpose of a free press, and acts accordingly.
Prayer 2 – God of Faith, Hope, and Love, we pray that President Trump would see the error of his ways, and would make a purposeful, lasting move towards supporting the freedom of the American people.
We pray that Donald Trump would support the freedom of the American people to peacefully protest, and that he would allow that freedom to continue forward without fear of tear gas, rubber bullets, or other unjust acts of cowardice.
Prayer 3 – God of Faith, Hope, and Love, we pray that President Trump would see the error of his ways, and would make a purposeful, lasting move towards supporting the freedom of the American people.
We pray that Donald Trump will recognize that we are free to take a knee. That we are free to disagree with authority, free to make our minds known, and free to hold our authorities to account.
Prayer 4 – God of Faith, Hope, and Love, we pray that President Trump would see the error of his ways, and would make a purposeful, lasting move towards supporting the freedom of the American people.
We pray that Donald Trump frees himself from his own cloud of ignorance, and uses that freedom to proclaim that Black Lives Matter, and then takes steps to pass policy to back those words up.
Prayer 5 – God of Faith, Hope, and Love, we pray that President Trump would see the error of his ways, and would make a purposeful, lasting move towards supporting the freedom of the American people.
We pray that Donald Trump decides to follow science and wear a mask, and while doing so, reminds the American people that a mask does not infringe on freedom, but rather shows love to our neighbors all around us.
Prayer 6 – God of Faith, Hope, and Love, we pray that President Trump would see the error of his ways, and would make a purposeful, lasting move towards supporting the freedom of the American people.
We pray that Donald Trump protects the purpose of the constitution, and in doing so, protects the freedom of Americans everywhere to live a life free from oppression, hatred, and discrimination.
Prayer 7 – God of Faith, Hope, and Love, we pray that President Trump would see the error of his ways, and would make a purposeful, lasting move towards supporting the freedom of the American people.
We pray that Donald Trump defends our freedoms, but until he does, we pray that he feels free to leave office early. We pray that Faith, Hope, and Love fill the White House for generations to come.
