On Fridays, we come together to pray for a change in the President, and, barring that change; a change in the Presidency.
This week’s news has continued to culminate in a cacophony of Coronavirus and corruption. The death toll has begun to rise, cases are hitting all-time records on a near daily basis, and our President still refuses to act, to show remorse, or to even wear a mask.
Most weeks, we pray for a change in the President, and we will continue to do so. However, this week we will be praying for a change in the Presidency, specifically praying for the States that are most “up-for-grabs,” as we think about all those that a new President and Presidency would immediately benefit.
You can join us live as we pray this prayer at 1pm ET/ 12 CT/ 11am MT/ 10am PT on Facebook and YouTube and the Vote Common Good website.
Prayer 1 – God of Mercy, we pray that this country is quickly led down a new path and in a direction that dares to act and replaces fear with acts of faith. We pray for each voter who will be casting their ballot this November, and we specifically pray for the swing states which will help decide the election.
