Friends,
It’s the day before Election Day, and I’m sure you’re feeling a lot of things right now, including possibly fear. Maybe hope? You’re reading this right now because you care. You care about this country’s future and its people.
And that’s what it’s all about — We the People.
That’s why we’ve journeyed through 20 states across the nation to get out the vote, work with candidates, and fight against Christian Nationalism in the lead-up to tomorrow. But we’re not done yet.
At a recent refuel stop in Texas, a MAGA voter walked up to our bus and started talking, curious.
|
The conversation was important because the person was convinced of some lies that MAGA politicians and their media have been feeding people for years.
And that’s part of why we’re doing this and why we’ll be doing this tomorrow on Election Day.

Eric Hadar is 3X matching your donation through Election Day — details here
We were able to have a conversation. Nobody sent this person, and this wasn’t scheduled. It was people talking without the noise.
And we told him what we know to be true.
That’s what’s happened at truck stops, gas stations, and hotel parking lots in every state we’ve been to, thanks to the incredible support from people like you who’ve helped fuel this trip.
Disinformation spreads because people are lonely and angry and nobody is talking to them, so we are.
|
Today and tomorrow, we’re continuing our active get-out-the-vote effort in Texas and backing candidates for Congress who care about democracy for all.
MAGA Christianity wants people to believe that their version of faith is the only one that exists. I know that isn’t true, and I’ve watched hundreds of people on the road who don’t believe it either.
We’re in our final push. And our good friend Eric Hadar has generously agreed to triple match every donation through Wednesday.
That means your $50 becomes $150 for the buses, drivers, and voter outreach that will actively get people to the polls tomorrow.
Please give now, while the match is still on.
And please vote tomorrow. If you’ve already voted, thank you, and call someone who hasn’t. Ask them to make the common good their voting criteria.
Then do one more thing: tell the person you disagree with most that you’d like to hear what they’re worried about.
In this together,
Doug
