2,000 people sang outside the ICE hotels

VCG,
I was just interviewed for an article in The Bulwark about Don Lemon getting arrested for reporting on protesters inside a church.
The Trump Administration claims the protesters violated federal laws meant to protect churches from having their services disrupted.
The hypocrisy is staggering.
Federal agents haven’t investigated their own colleagues who pulled the triggers and killed Minnesotans in the last few weeks. They ARE investigating the governor and the mayor.
And as I told The Bulwark, they’ve deeply affected dozens of churches here in Minneapolis.
|
I also told them that, a week ago, eight to ten churches asked for clergy to come and provide support to create a protective band so people could come to church, because dark-skinned people are afraid to come to church.
Churches that used to have 300 to 800 people on Sundays now routinely see small groups of just 50 to 75 people.
We’re calling on ICE to get out.

Last week, 2,000 people processed from a church to the hotels where ICE agents are housed and sang together outside. The video went viral with 3.5 million views. It tapped into something people needed to see.
