Arizona & Mexico May 9 - 12

Embark on a transformative journey with Vote Common Good as we travel to the US-Mexico border.

This unique and eye-opening event is specifically designed for civic and faith leaders, as well as individuals of good conscience, who are eager to gain a firsthand understanding of the truth behind what is happening at the border and how the story is being misrepresented by conservative political forces.

The US-Mexico border has become a focal point of political debate, with narratives often shaped by partisan agendas and misinformation. At Vote Common Good, we believe in the power of personal experience and firsthand knowledge to challenge these narratives and promote a more compassionate and just approach to immigration.

During these trips, we will immerse ourselves in the border communities near Texas and Arizona, where the realities of immigration and border policies come to life. Through engaging conversations, site visits, and interactions with local activists, community leaders, and individuals directly impacted by immigration policies, we will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities and human stories that often go untold.

Our journey will include visits to migrant shelters, humanitarian aid organizations, and border crossing points, providing us with a firsthand perspective on the challenges faced by migrants and the tireless efforts of those working to support them.

We will also have the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with local residents, faith leaders, and activists who are on the frontlines of advocating for immigrant rights and challenging the misrepresentations perpetuated by conservative political forces.

By participating in this trip, you will not only expand your knowledge and understanding of the border crisis but also become equipped with the tools and insights necessary to counteract the harmful narratives that perpetuate division and fear. Together, we can work towards building a more compassionate and just immigration system that upholds the dignity and rights of all individuals.

Join Vote Common Good on this transformative journey to the US-Mexico border and be a part of the movement to challenge the misrepresentations and advocate for a more humane approach to immigration. Together, we can create a more inclusive and compassionate society for all.
