That photo with the Vote Common Good sign was taken in Washington state. Supporters keep sending images like that from places that don’t make the national news, and it reaffirms something important: two-thirds of yesterday’s RSVPs came from outside major urban areas.
Red states. Rural communities. People who know what’s at stake just as well as anyone in a big city does.
This administration is built around us versus them. You are the them to them, all day long. And the answer to that, for nearly 250 years in this country, has always been we the people.
The work we do at Vote Common Good is traveling the country, working with candidates and asking faith voters to vote for the common good and turn away from the MAGA movement.
If you have friends or family whose MAGA support has been driving you crazy, just know the cracks are breaking. Never give up on your neighbor. Never give up on your son. Never give up on your mom. Our call is to use faith and hope and love to invite everybody into the big we.
That work takes resources, and it depends on people like you.
