I believe that Jesus is the ultimate example of “true humanity” and that serving others is a primary way to honor God. All people have “sacred worth” and deserve equal rights regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. I prioritize eradicating poverty, protecting the environment and advocating for universal healthcare. I am fighting to improve the concrete wellbeing of all people and my beliefs are rooted in compassion and the “Golden Rule”, treating others as I wish to be treated, to build a better society encompassing civil rights, environmental stewardship and economic justice.
