Tonight in San Antonio the rain chased us inside, but our meeting was still filled with warmth and light. We were joined by many passionate, powerful leaders, among whom was Shane Claiborne.

Shane has been an incredible blessing to Vote Common Good while we’ve been in Texas, and has especially reminded us of our duty to our fellow human. When we vote for the oppressed, for those without a voice and for the humans all around us, we vote for God and His people.

Shane shared this quote with San Antonio tonight, and it’s been impacting us ever since – “Loving our neighbor demands that we care about policies that affect our neighbors. God heals hearts…people change laws.”

So – we leave you with this question – what are you doing to love your neighbor? What are you doing to change laws?

Will you vote common good on November 6th?
