White Christian Nationalist politicians know what it means when they vote to shut down a polling place. They know what it means when they redraw the lines around a majority-Black district.
They’re counting on tired people struggling to pay rent to decide the trip to the voting booth isn’t worth it. But together, we’re showing them it’s worth it, and we’re not giving up.
Tomorrow we start work in Texas. We’re at the AME Church Conference in Houston on Thursday, then at the Laredo federal courthouse on Friday morning for a border coalition press conference, then in Eagle Pass on Saturday to turn out voters. Sunday we’re in San Antonio with Katy Padilla Stout, running in TX-23, and Monday in Carrollton with Dan Barrios, running in TX-32.
On Election Day, we’ll drive rides to the polls in Tarrant County and then hold a Party at the Polls in Austin.
Please donate any amount today. Your gift helps pay for the buses, drivers, and voter outreach we’re depending on to get people to the polls in Texas and across the country.
