If you are in the area and want to learn more about Vote Common Good or connect with me, just respond to this email. You are also welcome to attend the Saturday session by registering HERE.
Being at these meetings matters. I get to sit down with candidates, talk to reporters, and make the case that Democrats can win over faith voters in the districts that will decide the House.
This interfaith council at the DNC is a big step in the right direction. Democrats are waking up to the reality that Republicans don’t hold the faith vote.
That’s the work. And it’s just getting started.
After New Orleans, I want to come talk to your group, too. Faith communities, civic organizations, activist groups, book clubs that have become something more — virtually or in person, whatever works. Just hit reply to this email and let’s make it happen.
Donate any amount today to help us build this grassroots movement to preserve our democracy and restore the common good.
When we find each other, we get stronger.
In this together,
Doug
