Friends,

Right before the new year, we asked you to take a few minutes and tell us where Vote Common Good should focus in 2026.

The response was incredible! Nearly 900 of you answered the survey.

We asked what concerns you most about threats to the common good.

Almost 89% of you chose “all of the above,” which includes Christian Nationalism, immigration raids, attacks on democracy, racial division, climate, and economic injustice.

You’re not separating these things out, and neither should we.

And when we asked where we should invest more energy in 2026, your clear priorities were building grassroots organizing infrastructure, reaching more people through media and storytelling, and supporting churches resisting ICE.

All three received more than 560 responses.

And 303 of you specifically named our ICE raid protection resources as among the most valued work we’re already doing.

761 of you said you want to stay informed and keep learning. That’s what this movement is built on.

Here’s what 2026 has already looked like. We’ve been on the ground in Minneapolis for weeks — providing protective witness outside churches ICE was staking out, attending the vigils where Alex Pretti and Renee Good were shot and killed, and showing up when neighbors were being harassed by agents.

We’ve been organizing faith leaders across the Twin Cities, conducting national media interviews, and building a resource directory of sermons, statements, and organizing efforts from faith communities standing up.

Hundreds of faith leaders joined us for our conversation with James Talarico, running for Senate in Texas.

And two months of sustained resistance just forced ICE to announce it’s ending Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota.

We helped make that happen — you helped make that happen.

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We’re now taking that same organizing infrastructure straight to the ballot box in November.

You told us exactly where the need is greatest. We’re already there and expanding. Your support of any amount makes it possible to keep going.

Let’s keep building for the common good.

In this together,

Doug
