I just got off the phone with Vote Common Good’s Doug Pagitt. He’s in Arkansas today, on the road with the bus, and he asked me to do something I did back in 2018, when this whole thing was brand new.
I immediately saw the need — and it’s even more important today.
Doug had an idea, a handful of pastors, and a plan to drive from state to state and let people know that we didn’t have to let our country fall to MAGA and Christian Nationalism.

I’m not a preacher myself — I’m a real estate guy, but I strongly believe that people of faith don’t owe their vote to whoever shouts about God the loudest.

Back in 2018, I told The New York Times that someone has to focus on the evangelical base, because that’s an area where people have been neglected and where we can win back votes.

This is even more true today as people increasingly realize that MAGA’s actions don’t align with what they read in their Bibles.
Eight years on from my first donation to Vote Common Good, and here we are, faced with MAGA in power for Trump 2.0.
And I want to put my money into action in a big way again.

Why am I doing this?
Vote Common Good has done the work to show that faith voters are movable. That if we tell them we like them and we need them, we can flip the House.
