An exciting opportunity for Who’s the We?
Friends,
TED Talks are a huge brand — maybe you’ve seen one, spoken in one, or watched them on YouTube. Well, TEDxChicago wants Who’s The We? — our documentary on immigration, which recently debuted on PBS — to be part of their program this Saturday, October 3.
|
They’re going to put the trailer up on the TED stage during the day and then show the whole film that night at their official afterparty.
Who’s the We? asks who the WE in We the People is supposed to stand for. Donald Trump certainly doesn’t seem to know. Getting our film into the TED room built for big ideas is awesome.
|
This works out very well because we were running the Faith, Hope, & Love bus near the route when asked, but we do need a little extra support to take on this incredible opportunity.
To get our team to Chicago for Saturday — and spread the word about Who’s the We and Vote Common Good in front of this huge group of thought leaders (think of it like planting seeds in a garden ) — we’ve set a goal of $5,000 to cover it.
