Barrio Azteca residents are an inspiration four days from Election Day.
Friends,
The residents of Barrio Azteca in Texas — Laredo’s oldest neighborhood — are an inspiration.
We stood with them this morning outside the federal courthouse as they demanded two things from the Department of Homeland Security: proof the border wall won’t flood their homes, and an end to Trump’s wall corruption.
|
These residents are asking to be treated with the rights they deserve — as neighbors who are owed answers, assurances, and protection on this project built on massive no-bid contracts DHS has yet to explain.
At Vote Common Good, we believe that no community should have to stand alone.
|
There are just four days left until Election Day, and we’ll be here in Texas through to the end.

You’ve heard me say it all election season — we don’t get a second chance at this.
In this together,
