A generous donor will match your donation right now — details here!
In these remaining 35 days until the midterms, our tour is going to keep going full throttle! Diesel prices be dammed (thanks, Trump).
We’re on our way to Madison, Wisconsin this Thursday, then Holland, Michigan next Monday, October 5, at the Park Theater, with stops in Ohio and Pennsylvania after that.
In the middle of October, we head out on the Freedom Ride, retracing the steps of the original Freedom Riders, who weren’t able to complete the original tour by bus in 1961 due to extreme racism and violence. We are so excited to have some family members of those very same riders with us.
First, though, comes Saturday, October 3. TEDxChicago will play the Who’s the We? trailer on the TED stage and screen the full film that night at their official after-party. Our tour wouldn’t be able to reach these folks otherwise, and I like to think of this as planting seeds for our mission, which will spread the word of Who’s the We? across the country.
It’s going to cost us $5,000 to get there. Can you help with a donation of any amount?
A generous donor named Eric Hadar is double-matching every gift right now (learn more here), so a donation of any size goes twice as far. We have a long way to go, and not many days to do it in — but from what we’re seeing on the road, people are ready for change. We just have to keep going.
