I was raised to understand that “love thy neighbor” has no exceptions. That’s why I’ve worked to craft policy that benefits everyone in my community – no matter how much money they have, which political party they belong to, what they look like, who they love, or where they come from. If I’m lucky enough to serve a second term, that principle will continue to guide me in every decision I make.
