I was in a room with 20 candidates this weekend. Here’s what I saw.
Jeffrey L Steward,
I spent part of Monday in a room in Washington, D.C., with about 20 congressional candidates who are running to flip control of Congress, and I’m extremely encouraged by what I saw.
These folks are ready to hear us out.

The DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) brought together the candidates they believe have the strongest chance to flip districts from red to blue across 15 states — the states that will decide who controls the House.
We were invited because faith voters are critical to this mission.
This could shape how — and if — we defeat MAGA at the ballot box in November.
These candidates now know that millions of people across this country — and in their districts — have been told their faith belongs to one party. Our data has shown them how important it is to reach those voters, and they’re all in.
|
We also found ourselves being cited in The New York Times this weekend, after we told them that at least 14 Democratic clergy members are running in 12 states, including Iowa and Kansas.

The wave is real, from voters to candidates, and we’re smack dab in the middle of it.
Vote Common Good is on the trail, working with 40+ candidates across 17 states this cycle, and we’re showing up wherever faith has been used as a weapon to convince voters they have no other option but a red hat.
We’re doing the on-the-ground organizing, training, and faith voter outreach that nobody else is doing.
Together, we can flip the House blue. We have 5 months to do it. We close the margin with faith voters. We win. It’s that simple.
Will you give $25, $50, $100, or whatever you’re able to give today to help us keep at this work?
In this together,
Doug

Vote Common Good inspires people of good conscience to wake up, stand up, and speak up against MAGA politics and Christian Nationalism. We have a proven record of success moving faith voters away from radical candidates and inspiring them to vote their values for the common good. Please consider a contribution today.
