Minneapolis won’t forget, and neither should you.
Friends,
The Daily Beast reported this week that Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good here in my city on January 7, was put on administrative leave for three days.
Three days.
Then they quietly moved him to another state and put him right back on the job.

An FBI supervisor in Minneapolis resigned after she said she was pressured to flip the civil rights probe of Ross into an investigation of Renee — the woman he killed — for allegedly assaulting a federal officer.
Whistleblowers told two U.S. senators that Kash Patel himself directed agents to rewrite the warrants to make Renee the suspect instead of the victim.
Minneapolis is my hometown, and we will never forget what happened here.
Unfortunately, it’s not a one-off. Last week, a federal appeals court ruled that Alligator Alcatraz can keep running in Florida. It is the same story in a different zip code, and the people enabling it believe we will all just keep quiet.
We refuse to stay quiet, and the 40+ Common Good candidates we’re working to get elected across 17 states this election cycle are not staying quiet either.
