Christian Nationalism doesn’t speak for us. I’m going to make that clear.
Friends,
I’m heading to Washington, D.C. this weekend because Christian Nationalism isn’t slowing down — so neither are we.
I’ll be speaking at the Summit for Religious Freedom, meeting with reporters and faith leaders from across the country about what national organizing looks like right now to take back Congress from the people tearing down the wall between church and state.
|
Part of the weekend includes Hill Day — walking into Congressional offices and making clear to anyone who will listen that Christian Nationalism does not speak for us.
I’m staying with a friend, so there’s no hotel cost. That’s how we try to do things here at Vote Common Good — make the most of every dollar you give. But there are still travel expenses that go into showing up in these spaces.
Your donation of $25, $50, $75, $100, or any amount helps us do this work, this weekend and beyond.
|
Next week, I’ll share some photos from the summit. I want you to see where your support is making a difference.
In this together,
Doug
