The Pope is in Africa preaching peace. Hegseth is in the Pentagon praying for war.
Friends,
Two men are praying very different prayers.
Pope Leo XIV, traveling across Africa, is preaching peace and healing — and calling out those whose “hands are full of blood.”
In the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth publicly prays for “overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy.”
Both men call themselves Christian.

We know what this is. It’s MAGA Christianity. And we’re not going to let them get away with it.

This morning, Trump said extending the ceasefire was “highly unlikely.” Tonight, he extended it anyway — with no deal, no plan, and no end in sight. The threat to bomb Iran’s bridges and power plants hasn’t gone away. It’s just been postponed.
That’s the guy invoking Jesus from the Oval Office.
Wall Street Journal columnist Walter Russell Mead wrote that from Leo’s view, Trump “is almost the opposite of Christ, the personification of everything that is wrong with the world.”
We agree. And we’re not going to be quiet about it.

Their twisted version of Christianity does not speak for us. We can’t let it. Our country can’t afford it.
MAGA Christianity is a dangerous weapon, and Trump knows exactly what he is doing with his press stunt today to read a verse from the Old Testament during America Reads the Bible.
