One reason I care so much about getting the bus dressed and moving?
In my hometown of Minneapolis, I watched Donald Trump’s ICE surge through my city’s streets last winter under Operation Metro Surge, and I watched two of my neighbors, Renee Good and Alex Pretti, get killed by federal agents.
And it hasn’t stopped. Just this month, agents shot and killed a man in Houston and another in Maine, part of a pattern that’s now claimed at least six lives since federal deportation sweeps began.
This is happening across our country, and it will keep happening until we do something about it.
Who’s the we in “we the people”? Right now, too many people are being written out of that question.
We’re going to say that directly on the bus.
The Vote Common Good bus will carry this question into states like Iowa, Michigan, and North Carolina — right into the places where this election will be won or lost. Because the only way any of this stops is if we flip this country away from MAGA and toward the common good.
