Democracy on the Edge with Professor John Kenneth White
|
Professor John Kenneth White will join us to discuss his timely new book, Democracy on the Edge: The Trump Elections and the Future of American Politics, coauthored with Professor Matthew R. Kerbel.
The book examines the elections of 2020, 2022 and 2024 and explores how shifting political coalitions, generational change, cultural divisions and threats to democratic institutions have brought the nation to a defining crossroads. Professor White will help us understand how America arrived at this moment, what may lie ahead and what citizens can do to protect the future of our democracy.

Write Postcards. Reach Voters. Strengthen Democracy
|
Catholics Vote Common Good is partnering with NETWORK Advocates on its See. Love. Vote. Catholic postcard campaign.
Participants will send personal, handwritten postcards to fellow voters, encouraging them to register and make their voices heard in the 2026 elections. Volunteers may order free kits containing 10, 25, 50 or 100 postcards, voter addresses, instructions, starter postage stamps and materials for hosting an optional postcard-writing party.
This is a simple but powerful way to reach voters of faith with a personal message about why civic participation matters. Write postcards on your own, invite friends and family to join you or organize a gathering through your parish or community. Postcards must be mailed by October 12.
