Dear Friends,
One of the questions we hear most often at Catholics Vote Common Good is simple:
"What can I do?"
Today, we're excited to share a special opportunity that helps answer that question.
For a limited time, Ben Wikler has generously made available a free copy of his new book, This Is the Plan: How to End America's Meltdown and Save Democracy, to members of Catholics Vote Common Good through a special promotion offered to us as a Progressive Mobilization partner organization.
Ben is one of the country's most respected organizers and political strategists. As chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party from 2019 to 2025, he helped transform one of the nation's most competitive battleground states, leading efforts that resulted in victories in 10 of 13 statewide elections, including presidential, U.S. Senate, and state Supreme Court races. His work has become a model for organizing, coalition-building, and protecting democracy.
This isn't simply another political book. It's a practical roadmap for how ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference. Ben shares lessons from successful grassroots campaigns and offers concrete strategies for building stronger communities, engaging neighbors, and creating lasting change. Those lessons closely align with the mission of Catholics Vote Common Good as we work to encourage faithful citizenship rooted in human dignity, solidarity, and concern for our neighbors.
Our Catholic faith reminds us that participation in public life is not optional—it is one way we live out our call to love our neighbor and seek justice. As we continue building this movement together, resources like this help equip each of us to become more effective advocates for the common good.
We're also excited to share that we're working to bring Ben to Catholics Vote Common Good for a special virtual conversation in the coming months. We believe his experience building broad, values-based coalitions and inspiring people to meaningful civic engagement would be a tremendous resource for our community. We'll share more details as soon as they're available.
