This is important. We're all in this together.

"Catholicism is having a moment."

A fellow Catholic organizer recently made that observation. It is a funny thing to say about a faith tradition that has existed for more than 2,000 years. Yet it perfectly captures where American Catholics find themselves in 2026.

Our American pope, Leo XIV, continues to top popularity polls around the world. Catholic social teaching on human dignity, solidarity, care for the poor, the dignity of work, and the common good is increasingly shaping public conversations. Churches are reporting renewed engagement. Young people are discovering and rediscovering the faith. Social media influencers are posting videos about attending Mass, exploring Catholic traditions, and even ranking churches.

Something is happening.

Pope Leo's first encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas, helps explain why. At a time when technology, politics, and culture often pull people apart, the Holy Father has offered a compelling vision rooted in the dignity of every human person and our responsibility to one another.

As Pope Leo writes:

"Robots do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship, or responsibility mean. It is a 'magnificent humanity' that recognizes the inviolate dignity of every person."

Moments do not last forever. Turning this moment into meaningful action is where Catholics Vote Common Good comes in. Our mission is to provide Catholics across the country with opportunities to put their faith into action by supporting leaders and policies that reflect the values of human dignity, justice, solidarity, and the common good.

This is a Catholic moment. Together, let's make it a movement.

Catholics Vote Common Good Organizing Effort Featured in National Catholic Reporter

Catholics Vote Common Good was recently featured in National Catholic Reporter, which highlighted the organization's growing effort to engage Catholic voters in key congressional districts across the country.

The article examines why Catholic outreach matters at this critical moment and explores efforts to organize Catholics around the values of the Gospel and the common good.

As the article notes, Catholics remain one of the most influential voting blocs in American politics. With Pope Leo inspiring Catholics around the world and increasing interest in faith and public life, there has never been a better time to engage.

New Pew Research Highlights a Changing Political Landscape

A new Pew Research Center study shows that Americans increasingly defy traditional political labels and do not fit neatly into "red" and "blue" categories.

The findings underscore what many Catholics already know: voters are looking for leaders who can move beyond division and address the real challenges facing families and communities.

For Catholics committed to the common good, the study is a reminder that there is significant opportunity to build bridges, find common ground, and engage voters around values that transcend partisan politics.
