Pennsylvania Catholics Vote Common Good Update

Please put on your calendars the date of Thursday, June 20th at 7:00 pm ET.  Catholics Vote Common Good (CVCG) will hold another virtual event for Pennsylvania efforts on that day and time.

During the event, we will discuss the state of Catholic Vote Common Good’s organizing efforts here in PA, what you can do to help these efforts, and also share thoughts on strategy for the next two months after the Presidential Debate on June 27 and leading up to the two national political conventions, the Republican in July and the Democratic in August.

Click here to register for the June 20 Virtual Meeting for Pennsylvania.

A Zoom link for the meeting will be shared with you in a separate email on June 19 or June 20.

While you are on the computer or your phone to register for the June 20 event, please also consider going to the Catholics Vote Common Good website to learn more about our organization.

Also consider making a donation to fund our efforts here.

And please share this email with any friend or family member who you think might be interested.

Stop letting revisionists rewrite American history

In a powerful commencement speech to the graduates of Brandeis University, filmmaker Ken Burns highlighted the importance of studying American history: “It is my job to remind people of the power our past exerts, to help us better understand what’s going on now with compelling story, memory and anecdote.”

The patterns of history, Burns noted, “enable us to interpret our dizzying and sometimes dismaying present.”
