Pennsylvania Catholics Vote Common Good Update

Please put on your calendars the date of Thursday, June 20th at 7:00 pm ET. Catholics Vote Common Good (CVCG) will hold another virtual event for Pennsylvania efforts on that day and time.
During the event, we will discuss the state of Catholic Vote Common Good’s organizing efforts here in PA, what you can do to help these efforts, and also share thoughts on strategy for the next two months after the Presidential Debate on June 27 and leading up to the two national political conventions, the Republican in July and the Democratic in August.

Letter Campaign to Michigan Bishops continues

To the nearly 400 people who signed our letter to the Michigan Bishops – THANK YOU! We have signatures from every Diocese in the State of Michigan.
If you have not yet signed yet, please click here to sign electronically and forward the letter below to your friends, family, and fellow Catholics in Michigan.
We hope to get at least 500 signatures before personally delivering the letter to each Diocesan office the first week of July.

Stop letting revisionists rewrite American history

In a powerful commencement speech to the graduates of Brandeis University, filmmaker Ken Burns highlighted the importance of studying American history: “It is my job to remind people of the power our past exerts, to help us better understand what’s going on now with compelling story, memory and anecdote.”
The patterns of history, Burns noted, “enable us to interpret our dizzying and sometimes dismaying present.”
