DESCRIPTION:No child should have to fear violence or death at their school or place of worship\, or anywhere at all.  \nWhat happened last week at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis\, where two beautiful children\, ages 8 and 10\, were killed during Mass\, and 18 people were wounded\, is unthinkable. \nBut this is reality in an America where\, instead of learning multiplication tables\, children have to learn lockdown drills.  \nWe must come together to put an end to this\, and it starts here and now.  \nThis Friday at 1:00 PM CT\, we are joining Moms Demand Action and faith leaders at the Minnesota State Capitol to stand with Governor Walz’s call for a special legislative session to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. \nIf you’re in Minneapolis\, please join us at the Capitol on Friday.
